Ramadan Begins; Saudi Arabia Confirms Moon Sighting

Saudi Arabia has officially announced the sighting of the crescent moon, confirming the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

With the moon sighted, the first day of fasting will be Wednesday.

Muslims around the world will begin observing Ramadan with fasting from dawn to sunset, increased prayer, acts of charity, and reflection. Mosques and communities are preparing for Taraweeh prayers tonight, while families mark the beginning of this sacred month together.

America’s Muslim Network extends warm Ramadan Mubarak wishes to the entire community. May this month bring peace, mercy, and countless blessings to you and your loved ones.
